Reading all the comments from the yesterday's post make me think that many of you didn't really get the mood of my new track "2017"
I know that you are not all producers out there but with only 1 or 2 listens you would have realized that the track is not hardstyle and it's not psy either, it's a perfect blend of those 2 genres plus some little influences of dubstep, drum&bass and techno. The track can be categorized as an Hard dance one and not as another "hard-psy" or "psy-style". If I wanted that, I would have built 20-30 seconds of psytrance beat into a hardstyle or raw track. That's a mash-up (which is nice) but my intention was creating a crossover where you could clearly hear elements from both worlds where no one was highly dominating. A hardstyle dj would open a set with this track and on the contrary, a psytrance dj would close a set as well. The interesting thing would be having enough tracks for a few hours of this crossover, in such a way that we can create a new thing.
Anyway sorry for the long post, I know you would have prefer watching a pump fisting guy in front of a screen but I would not have been original.
